We are thrilled to welcome back Pawel, Nestor, Tim, Daniel, James, and Elliott from their mission to Poland. As you saw through our updates here and on social media – a lot was accomplished, in fact, far more then we could have expected! As such, we have decided not to stop here. We have increased our fundraising goal and plan to continue to raise money through this platform as well as via e-transfer and events.
With these funds we are currently procuring urgently needed medical supplies both from Canada, and where possible from Europe to save on transport costs. We are also looking to support future humanitarian aid missions, and will continue to collect donations of urgently needed medical supplies. Given the network we have now set up to quickly get supplies into Ukraine and into the hands of those who need it most, we believe we are the right team to do this! We are also officially partnering with a local Edmonton team (Ukrainian Volunteers of Edmonton) who we have been working with for awhile. This is very exciting as we #unite4ukraine
We will soon be launching a website and will continue to partner with and help other groups who need support with getting supplies into Ukraine. We will also continue to update you on our activities every step of the way so that you can see directly how your support is making a difference.
