St. Nicholas plant sale supports Ukraine
The Grade 4 class at St. Nicholas Catholic School in Sherwood Park decided to raise some money for Yeg 4 Ukraine by joining their fundraiser to buy two ambulances and equipment to send to Ukraine. Overall, $635 was raised in two days.
The teacher said the project helped students learn the importance of almsgiving and the power of community, as well as the knowledge to grow tomato plants.
